Community Leader • Advocate • Creative Contributor
I’ve proudly called Aurora home for over 25 years, with the last 14 dedicated to meaningful community engagement — as a parent, small business owner, volunteer, and political advocate. My creative work has supported local fundraising initiatives and continues to celebrate Aurora’s vibrant identity through my Living in Aurora community FOCUS blog.
Civically engaged and politically active, I’ve closely followed municipal affairs across the last three Council terms. I regularly attend Council, Committee, and Public Planning meetings, and previously served as a citizen member of the Governance Review Ad Hoc Committee, contributing to key initiatives such as online voting, the ward system, and Council compensation.
With a deep understanding of Aurora’s municipal processes, I’ve helped residents navigate accessibility, environmental, and development challenges. I’ve also produced political content and led public dialogue during the 2014, 2018, and 2022 municipal elections — always with the goal of fostering informed and active civic participation.
Professionally, I hold a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toronto. With over 30 years of combined experience in corporate, entrepreneurial, and consulting roles, I bring a strong background in project execution, business management, and collaborative leadership. I’m committed to building connections, solving problems, and contributing to Aurora’s long-term success.
